Infrastructure and Partners

Our Facilities

Available infrastructure includes fully equipped and new (2017) laboratory rooms for sensor assembly, cadaver and micro-biological testing and for surgical preparation (wet lab). Laboratories are equipped with operating microscopes, micro-drill and surgical instruments, sound-proof chambers, laboratory chapel and a laminar flow station for sensor fabrication. In addition, one acoustically and electrically insulated Faraday room (52m2) and two acoustically dampened sound rooms (39m2 and 32m2), an electronics work station and a photographic laboratory can be used. Also, three Laser Doppler Vibrometry systems (one scanning, one single point, and one 3D-LDV system), a robot arm system with automatic movement control, acoustic test and measurement systems for air and water (microphones, hydrophones, loudspeakers, anechoic chambers), function analyzers, function generators and amplifiers including customized software are available.
